Jack opened his eyes as the flash of light faded. He quickly looked around, taking in his surrounding. He was in a white, marble room, a green light shining down from somewhere above him. In the center of the room stood the woman he knew was Helen of Troy.

"So, the stone finally decided someone was worthy of the final test", she said as she turned toward him. "Apparently", Jack said as Helen walked over to him. She circled around him, taking in every inch of his confident posture. "And, are you aware of what that test is", she asked.

"Yes and I'm ready", Jack said, although something in her voice shook him just a little. Then he realized what it was. As she spoke, he felt something tugging at his mind. And he knew exactly what it was. It was her power, the power to manipulate minds; the same power that Jack had enjoyed for the last several days, that he didn't have now.

"Yes, I still possess this power, even inside the Eye that my mother trapped me in", Helen said as she laid a hand on his shoulder. "So this won't be easy. In fact, it will be the hardest test you've ever endured. And when you fail, I'll get to take over that sexy body of yours and claim my place in the world."

"What makes you so sure I'm going to fail", Jack asked as he eyeballed the woman. "Because, I know you, Jack", Helen said. "I know your deepest darkest desires and your worst fears. While you've been enjoying the power that belongs to me, I've been delving deep into your mind. Now, shall we begin?"

As soon as she spoke these words, green must obscured everything and Jack was in his sister's room, Emily on her hands and knees in front of him. "Come on, uncle Jack. You promised you'd fuck me and I've been waiting."

As he stepped back, Emily faded away, replaced by Helen, standing where the young girl had been. "How did you know she wasn't real", Helen asked as she looked Jack in the eyes. "Something about her just wasn't right", Jack said. "I could tell that it wasn't my niece."

"Fine", Helen said. "If I can't tempt you, perhaps I can scare you." She walked closer to Jack and leaned up, whispering in his ear. "I know why you want my power. I could sense it in you from the beginning. You're scared that you'll end up all alone."

Jack took a deep breath, trying not to let her words get to him. "They'll eventually find out that you're controlling them and then they'll hate you", Helen said. "You will be completely and absolutely alone. But there is another option."

"What is that", Jack asked. The thought that the mind control might eventually wear off had never occurred to him. He wasn't sure he could trust Helen, but he had to at least hear what she had to say.
